Speciality USA & All breed Shows***
Like every year, we visit the Speciality in the USA and show some of our dogs, but this year we competed also at 4 all breed shows before and afther the STCA Specialities.
This year we did bring our Danish Import male: "Dk Staff's I'm so Ruffian" and our youngstar "Carmichael's Sex Appeal", so father and daughter! Our new import male "Skillet" did also compete at the regional and national speciality. He won at both specialities 2nd place in his class, handled by Vincent Noya.
"Dio" won Best of Breed at the 2 first shows organised by the Burbank Kennl Club and his daughter won Best Opposite Sex 2 days in a row! At the Regional and National Speciality was "Dio" shortlisted by the last 8 amstafs in the Open Class out 22 enterd dogs, but he didn't get an placement.
"Smack" did compete in the 6-9 puppyclass, her accomplishments were:
∫ Regional Sweepstakes - 2nd place under breederjudge Mrs. Carrie Brummett Lee.
∫ Regional Speciality - 3rd place Best of Breed under judge Mrs. Carol Esterkin.
∫ National Sweepstakes - 2nd place under breederjudge Mr. Benny Cheeck.
∫ National Speciality - 1st place under judge Mrs. Mildred K. Bryant.
We were really proud to get some nice results at this prestigious show, in an big class of 8 puppies as the only uncropped puppy in that class. At the all breed show after the nationals on Sunday, she was really close to win her first points and major, she won Reserve Winners Bitch behind an very nice bitch handled by professional handler Ed Thomasson. So in general we did have an really nice trip to the USA and hope to be back next year!
